ESMRMB School of MRI
Creating educational ties and partnerships with other societies in the wider domain of imaging is a key feature of the ESOR philosophy. One such partnership has been successfully built up with the European Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and Biology (ESMRMB) and its School of MRI, thus avoiding unnecessary competition and providing better educational opportunities within the radiological community.
The School of MRI has become a well-established course programme within the MR community. This, besides many factors, is due to the individual way of teaching in small groups with experienced international experts and the long standing commitment of the course organisers.
In 2019, four European Courses and two e-Learning Courses will be organised by the School of MRI targeted to Radiographers and MR Technologists.
Advanced Clinical Courses
All courses are held at an advanced educational level. Participants should be physicians with well-established knowledge in MRI physics and techniques. In addition, they should have a minimum of 6 months of experience in applied MRI in the relevant field.
Basic Course on Applied MR Techniques & Advanced Course on Applied MR Techniques
These online courses are particularly aimed at medical doctors (e.g. residents in radiology), biologists or technicians who work with MRI or have an interest in using MRI for research. Participants do not need previous experience in MR techniques and MR physics.
