Course information
This course is aimed at senior residents, board-certified radiologists and fellows interested in high-quality breast imaging. This intense one-day programme consisting of lectures and workshops is articulated on imaging strategies for the breast pathologies, with emphasis on screening, and applications of AI in mammographic screening will be discussed as well. Lectures about state-of-the art mammography, breast ultrasound and breast MRI, with emphasis on screening will be presented. Renowned European and Korean lecturers will ensure a high-quality teaching programme, combining lectures and workshops, allowing for interactive case discussions.
Learning objectives
- to convey in-depth knowledge on the role of mammography, ultrasound and MRI in diagnosis of breast diseases, with emphasis on the screening and high-risk screening
- to present a comprehensive and practical overview of updated current imaging protocols and derived information in the detection and evaluation of breast pathologies with emphasis on screening
- to discuss state-of-the-art imaging approaches in diagnosis and screening of breast cancer
- to present the role of AI in mammographic screening
