September 17, 2021; Chengdu/China
September 19, 2021; Beijing/China
Course information
These courses are aimed at general board-certified radiologists and fellows interested in abdominal oncologic imaging, focussed on liver, rectal, female genitourinary, prostate malignancies, and lymphoma. They are designed as intense one-day programmes in two different cities in China. A particular focus will be on the applications of the latest imaging techniques, diagnostic criteria, staging principles, tumour assessment, and clinical role of imaging in abdominal oncology. Renowned European and Chinese experts will ensure a high-quality teaching programme, combining lectures and workshops, allowing for interactive case discussions.

Learning objectives
  • to present an update on current imaging criteria and strategies for the detection and staging of the most frequent/important neoplastic diseases of the liver, rectum, female genitourinary and prostate malignancies
  • to review the evolving role of imaging in lymphoma regarding tumour detection, staging, and follow-up
  • to highlight the importance of the multidisciplinary Tumour Board Meetings
  • to understand morphological and dynamic imaging criteria for assessing tumour response after treatment in patients with these abdominal malignancies
