ESOR Foundation Courses

In 2023 ESOR is organising 13 online Foundation Courses dealing with specific topics adhered to Level I and II of the European Training Curriculum. The Foundation Courses are recommended by the European Board of Radiology (EBR) as one of the tools to help prepare for the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR). Each course is delivered by renowned European faculty and includes six topics consisting of 40 minutes of theory and case presentations followed by a live Q&A section after each session for interaction with the faculty members. The ESOR Foundation Courses are aimed at residents in their 4th and 5th year of training in radiology and recently board-certified radiologists.

CME accreditation

Applications have been made to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) for CME accreditation of all ESOR courses. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.eu. European accreditation is granted by the EACCME in order to allow participants to validate the credits obtained at this activity in their home European country. The maximum number of CME credits designated for each event is announced on the ESOR website as soon as the application process of the specific event has been finalised. Certificates can only be handed out to participants who attended the entire course and after filling in the respective evaluation form.
