Course information

This course is aimed at senior residents, board-certified radiologists and fellows interested in musculoskeletal imaging. This intense one-day programme is articulated on imaging strategies for the spine, with emphasis in diagnostic issues and pitfalls, and impact of the imaging on patient management. It is designed to update knowledge on the role of imaging modalities and MR in particular, focusing on the spine (trauma, inflammatory diseases, bone marrow, oncologic diseases and spinal degeneration).

Renowned European lecturers will ensure a high-quality teaching programme, combining lectures and interactive cases.

Learning objectives

  • to learn and consolidate knowledge in radiographic, CT and MR protocols for common diseases of the spine
  • to learn how to diagnose and manage traumatic and degenerative diseases of the spine
  • to know the role of imaging in the diagnosis of inflammatory diseases of the spine
  • to be able to diagnose oncologic and non-oncologic bone marrow diseases of the spine
