ESOR Course on Musculoskeletal Radiology | September 7, 2023

Course information

This course is aimed at residents, board-certified radiologists and fellows interested in musculoskeletal imaging. This intense one-day programme is articulated on imaging strategies for the musculoskeletal system, with emphasis in diagnostic issues and pitfalls, and impact of the imaging on patient management. It is designed to update knowledge on the role of imaging modalities and MR in particular, focusing on sports imaging, pitfalls in musculoskeletal imaging, but also on benign bone and soft tissue tumors and bone marrow lesions. Renowned European lecturers will ensure a high-quality teaching programme, combining lectures and interactive cases.

Learning objectives

  • to become familiar with the most common sports related musculoskeletal injuries
  • to recognise normal variants and specific signs of diseases in the musculoskeletal system and how to avoid common and uncommon pitfalls
  • to learn how to diagnose and manage benign bone marrow, bone and soft tissue tumors
