What to expect
For one week participants are offered practical and theoretical knowledge and the opportunity to be integrated in the activities of an academic department of radiology. Additional exposure to non-interpretory issues of the broader culture of radiology is provided, addressing radiologic education, departmental work-flow, quality assurance or administrative principles and qualities. The whole programme is performed by renowned faculty including local and invited speakers.
The aim of the ESOR Tutorials is to enhance the experience of young radiologists, residents in the late years of their training, and board-certified radiologists in their daily radiological routines through an intensive, week-long teaching program.

In 2025, 12 places for radiologists from Eastern Europe* are available.
- The ESOR Graz Tutorial applies to residents in their late years of training and board-certified radiologists within 5 years of board certification.
- The ESOR Graz Tutorial is aimed at radiologists from Eastern European countries*.
- Previous exposure in any field of special interest is advantageous.
- Applicants must be fluent in English.
- Applicants must be members of the European Society of Radiology. If you are not a member yet, please go to https://www.myesr.org/membership and create your account. If your membership has expired, please renew it.

Selection Criteria
An Evaluation Committee at Medical University Graz will review all applications and select the most appropriate candidates taking into the account the following aspects:
- the degree of motivation expressed in the Motivation Letter;
- CV (hospital work, involvement in scientific presentations and/or teaching, publications, abstracts);
- letter of recommendation;
- involvement in previous ESOR/ECR activities;
- track record of interest in breast imaging.
FEES
Please note that the selected participants will be required to pay the 990EUR registration fee to attend the course. The fee covers the following:
- hotel accommodation for six nights (single room)
- breakfast, coffee breaks, lunches and welcome dinner
- public transport pass for a week*
- registration for the Tutorial including the ESOR Course on Breast Imaging
- certificate of attendance
