CME accreditation
ONLY for Live Streaming

An application for European CME credits (ECMEC) granted by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education will be submitted. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.eu.

CME credits will only be available for active participation in the live stream and after completion of an online evaluation form. No CME credits will be available for watching on demand.

Course information

This course is intended for senior residents, board-certified radiologists, and fellows interested in Head & Neck MR Imaging. The course will be a half-day intensive program that will include cutting-edge lectures and case presentations. It is strictly adhered to Level II of the European Training Curriculum. The topics covered reflect the variety and diversity of the anatomical structures and related functions that comprise the Head and Neck. The main focus will be on applying Ultrasound (US), Computed Tomography (CT), Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)and Magnetic Resonance (MR) to a selection of some of the everyday Imaging problems. The combination “lecture and case presentation” is aimed to refresh crucial Imaging findings and protocols, essential clinical aspects, and provide a check list of key information for diagnosis and treatment planning. The faculty consists of internationally renowned European speakers sharing their expertise in clinical radiology and in education as well as their best cases.

Learning objectives

  • to learn about US essential technique and findings in thyroid gland lesions
  • to be familiar with disorders of TMJ and state of the art Imaging
  • to refresh knowledge about the Imaging requirements for treatment planning in maxillo-facial trauma
  • to learn about the reasoned reporting in disorders of the teeth
