Course information
This course is aimed at last-year residents and board-certified radiologists interested in musculoskeletal imaging. This intense one-day program is articulated on imaging strategies for the musculoskeletal system, with emphasis in diagnostic issues and pitfalls, and impact of imaging on patient management. It is designed to update knowledge on the role of imaging modalities, focusing on bone tumors, on inflammatory diseases in adults and children and on joints (impingement syndromes and ankle injuries). In addition, there is a special focus on ultrasound guided intervention.
Renowned European and Philippine lecturers will ensure a high-quality teaching program, combining lectures and interactive cases.
Learning objectives
- to learn and consolidate knowledge in imaging protocols for common and rare musculoskeletal diseases
- to learn how to diagnose and manage bone tumors and inflammatory diseases in children and adults
- to know the role of imaging in the diagnosis and management of ankle injuries and impingement syndromes
- to be able to perform ultrasound guided intervention of calcific tendinopaty
