Training Programmes

Visiting Medical Student Programme

With this newly established programme ESOR is committed to connecting interested medical students in their final two years of study with training centers that offer mentored trial weeks in radiology by listing these centers on the ESOR website for easy access.

Duration: 1-2 weeks

Bracco Fellowships

These fellowships are aimed at young radiologists, i.e. radiology residents in their last years of training or recently board-certified radiologists.

Duration:
– Bracco Fellowships – Clinical – 2 months (between January and June 2024)
– Bracco Fellowships – Management – 2 months (between January and June 2024)
– Bracco Fellowships – Research – 4 months (between January and June 2024)

Nicholas Gourtsoyiannis Teaching Fellowship

This fellowship is aimed at board-certified radiologists, holding a consultant post or an academic position, who have completed three to six years of clinical/academic practice at the time of application.

Duration: Approximately one week per center

Multidisciplinary Visiting Fellowship

This newly established fellowship programme offers one abdominal radiologist and one digestive/ hepatobiliary surgeon, who already work together in a multidisciplinary team in their home institution, the opportunity to get to know in tandem the environment of another training center abroad.

Duration: two weeks

Visiting Scholarship Programmes Europe

This programme is aimed at residents in their 3rd, 4th or 5th year of training.

Duration: 3 months in the second half of the year

Exchange Programmes for Fellowships Europe

This programme is aimed at radiologists within the first three-four years after certification.

Duration: 3 months in the second half of the year

One-year Fellowships

This programme is aimed at radiologists within the first three years after certification.

Duration: 12 months

Alexander R. Margulis Fellowship

This programme is aimed at radiology residents in their 4th or 5th year of training as well as radiologists in their first three years after board certification from Eastern and South-Eastern Europe.

Duration: 12 months
