Musculoskeletal Radiology
What to expect
This course is aimed at senior residents, board-certified radiologists and fellows interested in musculoskeletal imaging. This intense one-day programme is articulated on ultrasound of tendons and muscles, imaging strategies for bone tumors and paediatric musculoskeletal diseases, and differential diagnosis of osteopenia. It is designed to update knowledge and interpretation skills on all causes of osteopenia, but also less frequent diseases (congenital and developmental pediatric diseases; cartilaginous bone tumors). Also practical tips for improved ultrasound imaging of sports injuries to muscles and tendons will be provided. There will be a special focus on the impact of the imaging on patient management and on communication to patients and the requesting physicians.
The courses adhere to Level I and II of the European Training Curriculum and are delivered by renowned European faculty. Each session includes six topics consisting of 40 minutes of theory and case presentations followed by a live Q&A sessions.
