Patient Communication Course – Part 1
What to expect
This course addresses critical educational needs in various aspects of patient interaction. From effectively communicating during ultrasound procedures and breaking difficult news to patients, to engaging in discussions about radiation risks, the course covers a spectrum of scenarios radiologists commonly encounter. Furthermore, it delves into the unique challenges posed by interventional radiology (IR) settings and explores communication strategies tailored to paediatric patients.
The course also features a dedicated session, “Conversation on Communication,” to foster a comprehensive understanding and application of communication skills crucial for enhancing the overall patient experience in radiology.
Accreditation
The course has been granted 5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).
Certificates with CME credits will be issued only after watching the live stream and completing an online evaluation form.
No CME credits will be available for watching on demand.
