What to expect
This course is designed to shed light on the importance and relevance of state-of-the-art multimodality radiological imaging in the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and management of highly relevant diseases and conditions of the cardiothoracic system. It is organized as a multimodality course discussing the most relevant clinical applications of both CT and MR. The presentations will provide clear recommendations for optimized imaging protocols, as well as a structured approach to reporting. The aim of this course is to provide ready-to-use information for day-to-day clinical practice.
One specific clinical focus of this course will be the state-of-the-art use of cardiac CT for acute and chronic conditions, as well as a structured approach to thickened left ventricular myocardium. Last but not least, an easy-to-follow guide to pulmonary fibrosis will be provided. The faculty consists of three well-known European experts who represent the current leadership of their respective subspecialty societies and will ensure high-quality teaching. The successful ESOR course structure—combining lectures with directly related interactive case discussions—will also be followed in this course.
Accreditation
This course has been granted 7 European CME credit (ECMEC®s) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).
Certificates with CME credits will be issued only after attending the live course and completing an online evaluation form.
