learning objectives
- To familiarise with the imaging appearances of ovarian masses and know the benign and malignant appearances using the ORADS MRI scoring system.
- To appreciate the role of imaging in staging ovarian cancer
- To be familiar with the use of imaging to guide bladder cancer staging and management.
- To understand the contemporary role of MRI for the assessment of prostate cancer, including quality assurance and bpMRI versus mpMRI.
- To be aware of the imaging appearances of endometriosis and the role of MRI in treatment planning.
- To get to know the range of appearances in acute pelvic pathology in women.
