What to expect

This course is aimed at last-year radiology residents, board-certified radiologists, and fellows with a special interest in prostate imaging. This ESOR Visiting Professorship will provide level II and III knowledge in accordance with the European Training Curriculum (ETC). The course is designed to highlight recent advancements and established practices in prostate MRI, focusing on the evolving role of imaging throughout the disease spectrum—from detection and risk stratification to treatment and follow-up.

The course is structured around key clinical topics, including quality in prostate MRI, interpretation of the PI-RADS classification, and the expanding role of whole-body MRI in advanced disease. Further sessions will explore the integration of MRI in active surveillance strategies, the application of image-guided treatment options, and the interpretation of post-treatment imaging findings. Attendees will benefit from direct interaction with a faculty of leading European experts who will provide high-level, practice-oriented teaching. The course will combine lectures with interactive discussions to foster in-depth understanding and active learning.
