Multidisciplinary Fellowship in

Gynae-oncology (UK)

learn from the best

The department of radiology, together with the large multi-disciplinary team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, is a referral centre for gynae-oncology, performing comprehensive imaging and treatment of women with suspected and confirmed gynaecological cancer.  The group also undertakes extensive scientific research including studies in radiomics and MRI, as well as research into surgical techniques and outcomes.

Clinical imaging comprises the whole spectrum of diagnostic and interventional imaging including MRI, CT, ultrasonography and percutaneous interventional procedures.

Strong collaboration between the clinical teams (surgery, histopathology, medical and clinical oncology) with the department of radiology allows optimal patient management and fruitful research.  Weekly tumour boards are held for gynaecological cancer, as well as a specific MDT meetings for germ cell disease and indeterminate ovarian cysts.

There are multiple on-going research projects within the group with regular patient recruitment taking place.

The combination of an inspiring academic institute and highly subspecialised gynae-oncology practice will make this two-week multidisciplinary fellowship a unique experience for a radiology/surgery duo to gain knowledge in imaging and multidisciplinary management of patients with gynaecologic cancer.
