Learning Objectives
- Understand the fundamentals of cardiac CT imaging, including anatomy, patient preparation, contraindications, technical principles, contrast media usage, and radiation dose reduction.
- Develop a structured approach to diagnosing and managing coronary artery disease, focusing on stenosis, plaque characterization, and ischemia in chronic and acute syndromes.
- Apply cardiac CT in clinical scenarios such as chronic coronary syndromes, acute chest pain, structural heart disease, and post-intervention follow-ups (PCI and CABG).
- Explore advanced cardiac CT techniques, including FFR, perfusion, and other emerging technologies.
- Enhance diagnostic and analytical skills through case-based discussions on anatomy, anomalies, stenosis evaluation, and treatment strategies.
course structure
Small group for the big impact
This course is limited to 16 participants to ensure low instructor-trainee ratio
Pre-course online meeting
An online video call will allow to get to know eachother, set the expectations for the course and assign pre-course tasks for participants
Hands-on training in Vienna
You will meet in-person for a two-day intensive training with interactive tasks, constrictive feedback and self-reflection activities
