This course provides comprehensive insights into the fundamentals and advanced applications of modern interventional radiology. It covers individualized treatment decision-making using vascular imaging, as well as vascular access and closure techniques, supported by clinical cases.
It also offers an overview of selected vascular and non-vascular interventions, demonstrating the broad range of interventional radiology treatments. Topics include transarterial therapy for liver tumors and the management of arteriovenous malformations with endovascular and percutaneous approaches.
The aim of the ESOR Tutorials is to further the experience of young radiologists, residents in their late years of training, and board-certified radiologists, through exchange and intense teaching in a model reference centre. This Tutorial is aimed at younger radiologists from Central Asian and CIS countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Russia).
The course will be taught in English and Russian.
All ESOR Foundation courses will be streamed live on the ESR Connect platform.
Applications have been made to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) for CME accreditation of all ESOR courses. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).
